CHURCH OF ST. PIUS X UPDATE
We hope that this email finds you each well. With the new stay-home order in effect from the Governor's Office until April 10th, we would like to you update you on what this means for our parish.
Parish Staff Our parish staff will now be working off-campus most days and times during the week. We will be monitoring voicemails hourly, but most of us can be best reached via email. If you are in urgent need of a priest, please contact Fr. Russ directly at 507-517-4235.
Prayer and Mass As before, the church will remain open every day for individual prayer from 9am until 4pm. Father Russ will continue celebrating Mass via the parish YouTube channel, (Daily Mass - Tuesday through Friday, Weekend Mass – Sunday). We are working on improvements to the sound quality so we hope that any issues that parishioners had last weekend should be improved. The Diocesan Masses will continue to be available every Sunday at 9 am on channel 6; please note that on April 5th, Mass will move to channel 3 at 7:30 and MyTV at 3.2 at 9 am.
Weekend Mass - 8:00 AM Tuesday March 31, 2020 - via YouTube
Donations Many Parishioners have asked what they should do with envelopes and their weekly giving. With the suspension of Masses through May 15th, weekly contributions are uncertain, leaving St. Pius' financial landscape vulnerable. - WEEKLY ENVELOPES may be mailed to or placed in new mail slot in the parish office door at 1315 12th Ave NW. - DIRECT GIVING will continue as normal. If you would like to enroll or make changes to your current donations, email email@example.com. - ONLINE GIVING allows you to make donations using your debit/credit card. The weshare site also has 2nd collections available. CLICK HERE to access this site. Please leave a message for Doug with the parish office, if you have any questions.
Sacraments and Celebrations First Communion, Confirmation, Weddings, Baptisms, and Funerals are being postponed until after May 15th unless there is an emergency. Graveside services with only immediate family in attendance can be arranged with Fr. Russ with later Funeral Masses or Celebrations of Life to be scheduled after May 15th. Father Russ will offer the sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesdays (5 pm to 6 pm) and Saturdays (3 pm to 4 pm) or by appointment, contact Father Russ directly at 507-517-4235. If you or a loved one are in need of Anointing of the Sick, please contact Fr. Russ directly.
Service to Others If you find yourself wondering what you and your family could do to assist the St. Pius X community, St. Pius staff has identified a list of elderly/vulnerable within the parish that may be in need of assistance. Needs may include running errands, helping with household tasks or even as simple as staying connected to someone that may be isolated. If you would like to offer help, CLICK HERE to submit your information to the St. Pius X office. A staff member will contact you and to make further arrangements.
Keeping in Contact Bulletin: Our parish bulletin can be accessed online via our parish website. If you know of someone who needs a bulletin mailed, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office and leave a message.

Know of our prayers for you and your families. Please let us know how we can help you during this time. We will continue to pray for our community, the vulnerable, and anyone who may have contracted COVID-19.
Sincerely in Christ, Father Russ and the St. Pius X Parish Staff.
