CHURCH OF ST. PIUS X UPDATE

Dear Parishioners,

Thank you for you patience as we continue to 
prepare to resume offering  public Mass at St. Pius X church. Click the image to the right to view updated procedures.   

                                                                         Daily Mass Update                                           St Pius X is planning to resume In-Person Daily Masses later in July. Masses will occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm.

Daily Mass Volunteers                                                                    Volunteers will be needed need to assist with hospitality, distribute communion and to operate the live stream camera. Training will be provided for all aspects of volunteering. Please click here to indicate what roles you would be willing to help with and the time that would work best for you.

Mass Attendance                                                                                      Parishioners must sign up for Sunday Mass attendance via flocknote sign-up. Click here to access Mass sign-ups for the next 3 weeks. Please note: registration is not needed for Sunday Communion distribution or daily Mass. 

Updating Contacts                                                                                  The parish data base contains over 1000 families.  Currently, we have email contacts for just over 60%  of these families. If you have not been receiving  email updates, please consider updating your contact information. Simply CLICK HERE to submit your contact information (including address, phone(s) number and email address) and we will update our records.          

Parish Office                                                                                                The parish office is now open to the public.  It is preferable for people to call ahead to see if their needs are something that can be handled without an in-person visit. Please do not visit the office if you have a fever, cough, sneezing or are feeling ill. Everyone who enters must wear a mask, and when inside, observe social distancing. St. Pius X staff will disinfect surfaces on a regular basis to ensure sanitized facilities.                                                                                                                                                                                                Individual Prayer and Reconciliation                                                      The church will remain open every day for individual prayer Monday - Saturday from 9 am until 4 pm. Father Russ will offer the sacrament of Reconciliation on Wednesdays (5 pm to 6 pm)  and Saturdays (3 pm to 4 pm) or by appointment, contact Father Russ directly at 507-517-4235. It is requested for you to wear a mask when entering the church.

Virtual Mass                                                                                                      Father Russ will continue celebrating Virtual Mass via the ST. PIUS X YOUTUBE channel.  The Diocesan Mass is available Sundays on Channel 3 KIMT at 7:30 am and MyTV at 3.2 at 9 am. 

Community Resources                                                                                St. Pius will list community resources available as we become aware of them.  If you have information that may help out other parishioners, please forward the information to church@piusx.org.  Thank you to the Parish Nurses for helping provide this information.  Click here to see the list of resources.

Donations                                                                                                        Parishioners have inquired as to what they should do with envelopes and their weekly giving.                                                                                    -  WEEKLY ENVELOPES may be mailed to or placed in mail slot in the parish office door at 1315 12th Ave NW.                                                      -  DIRECT GIVING will continue as normal.  If you would like to enroll or make changes to your current donations, email church@piusx.org.              - ONLINE GIVING allows you to make donations using your debit/credit card. THANK YOU TO OUR PARISH MASK MAKERS                                                A huge thank you to all the ladies who made masks for our  parishioners. We have many talented seamstresses! The masks are beautiful and superb; both for women and men. Presently, we have plenty of masks, so ladies, you can take a break from sewing them. As the pandemic goes on, if we run short, I may contact you again, but right now we have plenty.  Thank you ladies!  Betty

Formed.org - Formed is offering free access to everyone for the next month. Simply register yourself as a user and access hundreds of Catholic movies, books, talks, cartoons and more. 

We know that this situation continues to change rapidly. We will do our best update the Parish website and email you via Flocknote with any changes and resources.
