Welcome to St. Pius X
Thank you for your interest in our parish. Whether you’re just visiting us for a brief time, looking for a new parish home, returning to the practice of your Catholic faith, or are interested in finding out more about the Catholic Church, we are happy to have you here!
If you are considering becoming an active member of St. Pius X, learning more about the Catholic faith and sharing the love of God with one another and the larger community of the Med City, Rochester, MN, please do not hesitate to contact us to see how we can help you along your journey of faith. God has given all of us gifts and talents which he intends for us to use to help build his kingdom here on earth. Here at St. Pius X there are many opportunities to use the gifts and talents God has given us to participate in this mission.
We encourage you to become informed about our Catholic School, St. John the Evangelist/St. Pius X Catholic School. SJE/SPX Catholic School is part of the Rochester Catholic School system and aims to develop the spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth of young people. RCS partners with parents and the Catholic faith community to nurture the development of a Christ-centered learning environment that fosters a culture of excellence where students grow in wisdom, courage and character…” In 2006, St. Pius X Catholic School merged with St. John the Evangelist Catholic School in 2006 to form one School on two campuses. Grades 5-8 are located on the campus of SJE and preschool through grade 4 are located at our St. Pius X campus. Please visit the RCS website for more information about SJE/SPX and all the Rochester Catholic schools.
I certainly hope you will acquaint yourself with all of St. Pius X has to offer and find something that interests you as well as encourage you to become an active member. Please join us on the Lord’s Day, Sunday morning or Saturday evening, to give thanks to God for the blessings we have received. The Eucharist is the source and summit of everything we do. If I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me or any other member of the parish/school staff.
